Warranty
Your Benney watch is warranted by Benney Watch PLC for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty.
Benney warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery of the purchased Benney watch (“defects”). The warranty only comes into force if the warranty certificate is dated fully and correctly completed and stamped by the Benney Watch PLC customer services provider.
During the warranty period and by presenting the valid warranty certificate, you will have the right to have any defect repaired free of charge. In the event that repairs are improper to restore the normal conditions of use of your Benney watch, Benney Watch PLC guarantees its replacement of identical or similar characteristics. The warranty for the replacement watch ends twenty four (24) months after the date of purchase of the replaced watch.
This warranty does not cover:
- The life of the battery
- Normal wear and tear and aging ( e.g. scratched crystal, alteration of colour and or material of non-metallic straps, chains such as leather, textile, rubber, peeling of the plating).
- Any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal/abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents, (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal etc), incorrect use of the watch and non-observance of the use of directions provided by Benney Watch PLC.
- Indirect or consequential damages of any kind resulting from e.g. the use, the non-functioning, the defects or the inaccuracy of the Benney watch.
- The Benney watch handled by non-authorised persons ( e.g. for battery replacement, services or repairs) or which has been altered in it’s original condition beyond Benney Watch PLC control.
Any further claim against Benney Watch PLC for damages additional to the above-described warranty is expressly excluded, except mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have against the designer.

How to care for your Benney Watch
Temperature
Do not expose your watch to sudden temperature changes (exposure to sunlight followed by immersion in cold water) or extreme temperatures over 60 degrees C (140 F) ) or below 0 degrees C (32F).
Magnetic fields
Do not expose your watch to intense magnetic fields such as loud speakers, portable telephones, computers or refrigerators and other electromagnetic equipment/ appliances.
Shocks
Avoid thermal or other shocks as it may harm your watch. In the event of a violent shock please have your watch checked by Benney Watch Customer Service provider.
Harmful Products
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products etc. since they may damage the bracelet, the case or the gaskets.
Water Resistance
Water resistance of watches is based on laboratory pressure tests comparable to a swimmer or diver sitting still at that pressure level. However many water based activities involve a lot of movement and other environmental changes. These exceptions to how a watch was rated may challenge or defeat the water protection features of a water resistant watch. The water resistance of a watch CANNOT permanently be guaranteed. It may be affected by ageing of gaskets, or by accidental shock to the crown.
Never activate the time-setting crown and/ or pushers while the watch is under water and make sure that the crown has been pushed/screwed down tightly after every operation.
Do not under any circumstances open the watch yourself.
3atm/30m/100ft: Watches water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet
5atm/50m/165ft: 10atm/100m/330ft: 20atm/200m/1000ft: Watches water resistant to 50, 100, or 200 meters/165,330 or 660 feet.
10atm/100m/330ft: 20atm/200m/660ft: 30atm/300m/1000ft: Watches water resistant from 100 to 300 meters/330 to 1000 feet or more with screw down crown and diving bezel.

Customer Satisfaction
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. Should you not be satisfied with your product, then please call our customer services line on 0845 0175040 (national call rate). Our team will be very happy to speak with you to ensure your satisfaction. Benney Watches come with an unconditional 30 day money back guarantee. Prior to returning any product, please call us on 0845 0175040 to get a return authorisation. This authorisation will be required in order to process any changes or refunds.
The cost of the goods will be refunded, so long as the goods are still in the condition that they left us in. The return postage will not be refunded unless the reason for return is due to a mistake by ourselves.
The Guarantee policy will only be honoured if you return any unworn, undamaged watch within 30 days of purchase price (minus shipping and handling fees) along with the Guarantee/ Warranty certificate.
Any watch that does not have the Guarantee/warranty certificate or fails quality inspection from customer services (scratches, worn damaged) will be returned to you and no refund will be issued. If a watch is returned without all its original components, the following charges will be applied:
Missing inner box: £5
Missing links: £3 per link
Please note that watches with leather straps that are sized (cut) are not returnable or exchangeable. Strap replacements can be ordered at an additional cost by calling customer services: 0845 0175040

Credit Card Security
Benney Watches PLC is committed to handling your customer information with high standards of information security. We use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to personal information only for those employees who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities.
Furthermore, your credit card number, bank account and other financial information will not be revealed to anyone whom you have paid or who has paid you through the Benney Watches website, except with your express permission or if we are required to do so pursuant to a court order or other legal process. None of your private financial information is stored on the Benney Watches website.
If you are buying goods or services and pay through the Benney Watches website, we may provide the seller with the shipping address for the goods and your confirmed credit card billing address to complete your transaction with the seller. The seller is not allowed to use this information to market their services to you unless you have agreed to it. To facilitate dispute resolutions, we may provide a buyer with the seller’s address so that goods can be returned to the seller.

Benney Watch Finishings
Stainless Steel
For the manufacture of all components, Benney Watch PLC has selected a very high quality stainless steel. The advantages of this steel are its high corrosion resistance and excellent durability.
Sapphire Crystal
Sapphire crystal is manufactured from aluminium oxide (AL2O3). Transparent and colourless, it can only be scratched or cut with a diamond. Due to its extreme hardness, sapphire is virtually immune to deterioration or distortion, scratch proof and resistant to wear and chemical attack. Highly polished, sapphire is perfectly transparent.

Delivery Information
All orders must be signed for upon receipt.
Delivery Schedule
We work Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm and ship your order within 48 hours; therefore UK orders should be received within 3 business days of order. International orders are shipped within the same period and are generally received in 7-10 days.
Shipping and Handling
All Benney Watch orders are shipped using a UK domestic courier requiring a signature on receipt.
- GB Main land locations: will be delivered Free of Charge
- Any off-shore UK destinations (Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Scilly, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands) will be charged £16 for postage.
- European destinations: Shipping will be charged at £30 per delivery
- Rest of World destinations: shipping will be charged at £45 per delivery
- Saturday by 12 noon can be requested at an additional charge of £22
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when your order is placed. They are not held in clear text on this web site.

Sales Conditions and Returns Policy
To return an item, please follow the instructions below. Failure to comply with the requirements may result in a refund or replacement being declined.
Note the reason for your return and enclose the slip in the shipping carton.
- Enclose your warranty/guarantee certificate which has been dated and stamped or another form of Proof of purchase.
- Enclose your name, address and contact details
- Enclose ALL your Benney watch components, that includes links and the box.
- Securely wrap the package and send to the address listed on the back of your packing slip or call 0845 0175040 to get the address.
- The package MUST be sent via a delivery service which requires a signature to ensure against loss in transit.
- Once received and inspected, a credit will be issued for all watches meeting the guarantee or warranty provisions. The credit will be issued to the card upon which the order as originally placed.

VAT Charges For orders made within the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. Countries outside the EEC, including Channel Islands and Andorra are shipped tax free.
